Therapy can be a positive way to begin your journey of figuring out how you got to where you are, how to manage the symptoms that are making your life unbearable, and what choices you want to make to change your life’s trajectory.
I am training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Mindfulness as a way to stay in the present moment letting go of unnecessary stress and reaching your full potential using both reality-based solutions and humor as a way to build trust and engagement.
Face to face contact is the best way I have found to create a sense of engagement which is integral to the therapeutic process, which we can do both in person and virtually. Relationships and trust is the number one most important thing in any therapeutic alliance.
